Throne and Liberty, the upcoming MMORPG from NCSoft, is undergoing significant changes based on player feedback from beta testing. In a recent letter to the community, producer Jongok Ahn outlined the key areas of focus –  dynamic combat, faster progression, and engaging world exploration. These changes aim to Throne and Liberty Lucent address two major concerns identified during testing: static combat and tedious progression.

Addressing Static Combat:

The development team acknowledges the need for a more engaging combat experience. To achieve this, they are implementing several changes:

    Increased Mobility and Control: Players can now move and fight simultaneously, allowing for more dynamic and strategic battles. Additionally, responsive controls are being refined to offer a more fluid gameplay experience.
    Enhanced Skill System: New skill types and an increased number of initial skills offer players greater flexibility and build customization. Faster skill acquisition and easier weapon swapping further empower players to adapt their strategies and combat styles.

Streamlining Progression:

Throne and Liberty is striving to reduce the grind and offer a more satisfying progression experience. This includes:

    Faster Leveling: Leveling up has been accelerated, with the time to reach level 30 now approximately three times faster compared to the beta test.
    Increased Resources: The availability of resources for cheap Throne and Liberty Lucent crafting and equipment enhancement has been increased, reducing the repetitiveness associated with these activities.
