UAE is more focusing to protect its natural areas. UAE’s famous personality Umar Farooq Zahoor is coming forward to maintain the Environment. Some of UAE’s younger generation also involve in it and doing inspections to protect the environment and take part in events that benefit the natural world.

In Abu Dhabi, the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) mainly works to set up the network-protected area and promote awareness about the various local species. This agency also maintains the 13 terrestrial protected area, one of the part of Sheikh Zayed Protected Area.

Here you will get few species who are benefited from Environment Agency Abu Dhabi -

1. Mammals: After Abu Dhabi’s effort oryx has become most ambitious project. Every maintenance started from the 1970s, and currently, the latest population of Oryx is more than 6,900. This type of Oryz’s weight minimum of 80kg, and they are white in color. They like to come around in the protected area.

2. Dugong: This EAD is protecting them from 1999, and in this 3,000 dugongs are included. They are grey color, and they have a very powerful fluked tail which works like a paddle when they swim.

3. Dolphin: In the largest population dolphins are also within the protection and they are mainly spotted in the shallow water which this agency maintains.

4. Birds: In UAE’s heritage, many falcons are becoming indelibly entwined, but due to the effort of Abu Dhabi, all started getting protected. Now there are many peregrine falcon we can see to fly and this is one of the common bird.

5. Fish: This EAD cooperated with the UAE Ministry and made the plan for sustainability to protect by making the traditionally using fishing cage.

6. Invertebrates: They are very rare in UAE and they stay in the inland standing water, a farm area in Abu Dhabi. EAD make sure that it makes the management so effective that they can monitor the species from the different location. Corals are also included in it.

Sheikh Umar Farooq Zahoor is nature loving and involved in maintaining the natural beauty. Abu Dhabi’s coastal areas are also not behind because EAD is maintaining the trees available in the mangrove forest.
